What makes Trudeau’s seven new Senators any more meritorious?
At the end of the day, government legislation must make its way through the Upper Chamber. As in the past, the debate will be vigorous and bills will be supported or opposed. The seven new Senators will be no different. They will have to decide to support legislation or oppose it.
