Standard of living, quality of life rely on innovation, innovation relies on engineering design

Canada predominantly looks at and measures innovation from an economic perspective alone. This misses innovation impact on environmental quality, social justice, and healthier citizens. The Government of Canada must move to measure innovation outcomes to reflect economic factors and quality of life factors that Canadians value.
