No more free lunches for MPs as new lobbyists’ code enacted
Many lobbyists abstained from campaigning so as not to find themselves offside the new rules.
As Parliamentarians return to the capital this week and Hill events and receptions follow, Ottawa veterans may notice some changes: they will be sent off with fewer gift bags, and there may no longer be such thing as a free lunch.
