Conservatives Senators showing troubling, potentially destructive partisanship
This is wrong. The Senate is indeed Canada’s second House of Parliament but it is not, and was never intended to be, a second House of Commons.
OTTAWA—The new government has just been sworn in and already some Conservative Senators are talking about delaying, blocking, or defeating government bills passed by the House of Commons.
