Government slow to table monitoring reports on marine oil spills
Two legislated Transport Canada reports to Parliament on a regime responsible for monitoring and responding to oil spills on Canada’s coasts and the Great Lakes have each been delayed by more than a year under the Conservative government compared to past practice, records show.
