Canada’s democratic system needs an overhaul
We have to abolish, and then perhaps reform, the Senate; bring in term limits for premiers and mayors; make referendums on social issues more frequent and Canada-wide; and ask voters if we still need a foreign monarchy 3,000 miles away to be our ‘figurehead head of state.’
