Cabinet subcommittee reviewing proposals to cut $4-billion annually

Cabinet still looking at proposals on how to find up to $4-billion in annual savings by 2015-2016 out of 67 government departments’ $80-billion operating budgets, for a cumulative total of $11-billion in savings.
