Canada’s democracy should encourage innovators, not drive them away
As Canada's legitimate deliberative and law-making body, Parliament should be a place of heated debate and exchange of ideas. Committee of the whole, or the House of Commons, is an unlikely place for an informed and high-level debate to take place, so it is a good thing we have committees.
