Nearly 3,000 soldiers from Afghan war receiving disability
That's about 35 per cent more than the number of troops who were receiving disability benefits as of last February.
The number of Canadian Forces soldiers, personnel and veterans who are now receiving disability benefits related to their service in Afghanistan has climbed to nearly 3,000, Veterans Affairs Canada has disclosed.
