Liberals all over the map on foreign takeovers issue
Basically on foreign ownership of the Canadian economy, the Liberals don't sound a lot different from the Conservatives.
TORONTO—In a speech to the Toronto Board of Trade in September last year, Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff blasted the Harper government for failing to stand up for Canadian industries—pointing to foreign takeovers of a long list of major Canadian companies.
