Canada’s criminal justice system increasingly flawed

As reported by Statistics Canada on Dec. 8, the number of offenders serving conditional sentences increased by five per cent in 2008. At the end of any given month in 2008-2009, according to that federal government agency, there were almost 13,500 adults serving a conditional sentence.
