The vast majority of Canadians want more, not less, stringent gun safety laws, according to a 2006 Ipsos Reid Poll. Bill C-391 is bad law, passed by a government hiding behind Conservative MP Candice Hoeppner's skirts while bringing its legislation in through the back door.
