CAC ‘in limbo,’ losing money without consulting function

The federal government is in desperate need of auditors who should be certified accountants, says a machinery of government expert.

The future of Consulting and Audit Canada is "in limbo," was only "marginally profitable," and under the Conservative government its 150 auditors may be most useful in the Office of the Comptroller General, according to an analysis of the agency by the Sussex Circle consulting firm.
