Government accepts 55 of 157 Senate’s FAA amendments
The Conservative government has proposed an amendment to prevent large delegate fees from being entirely counted as political contributions; one NDP MP says there were talks among parties.
The government has accepted 55 of 157 Senate amendments on Bill C-2, the Federal Accountability Act, mainly all technical and mostly all put forward by Conservatives, while partially accepting two Liberal amendments that it intends to amend further.
