Backbenchers gird to strip TB’s budget-making power
An all-party group of MPs wants to strip Treasury Board's well-established power to set the budgets for the federal government's small group of Parliamentary officers, including Information Commissioner John Reid who says he's in the "midst of a crisis of under-funding."
