One down, 999 rumours to go... As long expected, Bob Fife was named Ottawa editor of a converged National Post--Southam bureau last week. That kills the speculation by some at the turbulent Ottawa Citizen that he might be earmarked for editor Scott Anderson's job at the paper. At least for now.
