Press Councils offer outlet for champions of thought control
The notion of a press council -- a bad idea from the outset -- came out of the report on the media by longtime Ottawa bureaucrat Tom Kent, a man whose notion of a good society is one run primarily by government and, more importantly, government bureaucrats.
