Question period: Should former prime ministers automatically receive the Order of Canada?
"Well yes, if they served well and made a difference to Canada and the country and made a contribution to mankind. I don't have a problem with a former prime minister getting it as long as they identified themself and moved things ahead ... I think it's a good thing if they did a good job."
