Bev Sellars (Secwepenc) is chair of B.C.’s First Nations Women Advocating Responsible Mining (FNWARM) and the best-selling author of “They Called Me Number One: Secrets and Survival at an Indian Residential School.” They are both senior advisers to the Indigenous Leadership Initiative (ILI).
