Canada cozying up to fascism under false pretence of co-operation

It’s easy to see the Canadian government engaging in deference to U.S. terrorism strategies as normal, but it’s only a matter of time before there’s a crack down on left-wing political speech, thought, and organizing.
Canada’s recent participation in a meeting hosted by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio aimed at left-wing extremism is the latest example of liberals laying down with fascists to legislate the punishment of left-wing political discord, writes Erica Ifill.

OTTAWA—There is a phrase in politics that could describe the overall tenor of the Carney government: scratch a liberal and an authoritarian bleeds. We are not standing up to American fascism, we are joining them.
