Hill barbershop has remained a cut above for nearly a century

Politicos have flocked to Victoria Barber Shop in the heart of the Parliamentary Precinct for 99 years, finding conversation and casual camaraderie alongside constancy and haircuts.
‘They get to just be human beings. They don't have to be politicians when they come here,’ says Victoria Barber Shop owner Robin Seguin of her multi-party clientele.

When asked which politicians frequent her barbershop, Robin Seguin doesn’t need to rack her brain. Instead, she opens up a small closet to look over the chart of all the Canadian Members of Parliament, her regulars circled in blue ink.
