‘This process doesn’t work’: Pamela Wallin weighs in on assisted dying review

A special committee of MPs and Senators is in the midst of a now-extended statutory review of Canada’s medical assistance in dying law.

The joint parliamentary committee tasked with reviewing Canada’s medically-assisted dying law doesn’t have the time to properly wrestle with the “tough issues” where there is a “clash of views,” says Senator Pamela Wallin.
