When National Defence Minister Anita Anand announced what Canada was contributing to Ukraine by way of lethal weaponry, the government of Ukraine asked its reporter Maksym Nalyvaiko not to report the details of the hardware.
Maksym Nalyvaiko is the Canadian correspondent for Ukrinform, Ukraine's state-run media outlet. He is the only Ukrainian journalist reporting to Ukraine from the Parliamentary Press Gallery, and, as far as he knows, the only one in all of Canada.
