‘Freedom Convoy’ dominated downtown for more than three weeks; living and working in Ottawa’s ‘red zone’

The onslaught of protesters seemed to never end, particularly at the end of January when the 'Freedom Convoy' began. Three-and-a-half weeks later, the police stepped in, the Emergencies Act was passed by Parliament and then revoked by the prime minister shortly thereafter, and the occupation of downtown Ottawa has mostly come to an end.
