Chiefs on the move: Garneau and Alghabra confirm new office heads

Plus, along with a new acting chief of staff, Families, Children, and Social Development Minister Ahmed Hussen has a new director of policy and a new press secretary.
After taking on new roles in the Jan. 12 cabinet shuffle, Foreign Affairs Minister Marc Garneau, left, and Transport Minister Omar Alghabra have confirmed their chiefs of staff, and, in turn, Families Minister Ahmed Hussen has a new acting chief in his office.
A number of chiefs of staff are on the move of late following the Jan. 12 cabinet shuffle, but at least one affected chief of staff is staying put. Daniel Lauzon has been confirmed as staying on board to run new Foreign Affairs Minister Marc Garneau’s office.
