Asinabka Film and Media Arts Festival happens Aug. 7-11 at Ottawa’s OAG

The eighth annual Asinabka Festival, which celebrates Indigenous arts in Algonquin territory, will be screening more than 50 of the best in Indigenous films from Canada and from around the world from Aug. 7-11, 2019, at Ottawa's OAG's Alma Duncan Salon, Arts Court, Gallery 101, 2 Daly Ave. On opening night, on Aug. 7, there will be an outdoor screening and the Canadian premiere of Vai, directed by nine female Pacific filmmakers, at the Club SAW Courtyard.
