Without support for arts and culture, government ‘doesn’t have a plan for economic growth and recovery’: Minister Moore

Federal funding for arts and culture has stabilized in recent years, but James Moore has warned that his department will face the deepest cuts in 2012.

The government has been tight-lipped when it comes to the details of this week’s federal budget, but Canadian Heritage Minister James Moore already knew that his department would see the deepest cuts when he appeared before the House Canadian Heritage Committee last December.
