OTTAWA—A few days after the last federal election, Liberal MP Jim Karygiannis publicly called on his then-party leader Stéphane Dion to resign after the party "tanked" at polls. And he did it again on Dec. 4 in Ottawa. Three days later Mr. Dion stepped down.
